Healthy Choc-Caramel Smoothie

This is my go-to summer breakfast smoothie! Packed full of delicious & nutritious ingredients. It’s refreshing + filling, and tastes so good you won’t beleive it’s good for you!

Smoothies are a great way to incorporate protein powder into your diet! There are so many variations to try, but my current favourite is definitely this choc-caramel recipe. It feels thick and creamy, and is so delicious it will satisfy any chocolate cravings! You can have this for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Or dessert if you’re like me and need something sweet to end the day. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

smoothie recipe:

protein | fibre | healthy fats | probiotics | vitamin D + B12 | long lasting energy

Ingredients:

  • 1 large frozen banana (add more for thicker texture)
  • 1 scoop Plant Power Protein Caramel (can sub for vanilla/choc if preferred)
  • 300ml plant milk (soy, coconut, almond, oat etc)
  • 1 large Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 Tbsp maple syrup (optional) 

Method:

– add milk to protein shaker, then add in 1x scoop of protein powder and shake well
– pour milk+protein mix into blender, add frozen banana, cocoa, peanut butter, vanilla and optional maple syrup
– blend and serve! you can add more frozen banana to make it thicker, or more liquid to thin it out to your preferred consistency!
