There is something that is truly comforting about a warm bowl of oats in the morning. For those of you out there wanting to lose weight the importance of breakfast cannot be stressed enough! Especially having a breakfast containing a good amount of protein. This will allow you to feel fuller throughout the day and be less likely to binge in the afternoon.
For those of you that are new to using matcha powder I would recommend hunting it out at your local supermarket. You should be able to find it in the health foods section. It may look a bit pricey but is well worth it and will last a long time as you only use a tiny amount each time. Or check out the New Zealand company Wabi Matcha that is selling Japanese matcha powder from Christchurch!
Matcha powder has many different health benefits and is shown to have as much as 100x more antioxidants when compared with regular green tea (amazing!). For a healthy alternative to coffee try swapping your daily coffee out for a matcha latte, matcha is said to naturally promote alertness and your body will thank you for it.
The combination of matcha and vanilla go so well together and make for a creamy and delicious breakfast.
