Whether it is for breakfast, dessert or a special occasion, you can get your daily dose of protein in these simple and delicious protein powder waffles.
If you don’t have a waffle iron, you can also use this recipe for pancakes so don’t rush out and buy any fancy equipment.
1 Cup Quinoa Flour
4 Scoops Vanilla Protein Powder
1 Large Egg
2 Large Egg Whites
1 Teaspoon Olive Oil
2 ½ Cups Unsweetened Almond Milk (Or Dairy)
In a large mixing bowl, add Flour, protein powder, egg and egg whites and while whisking, gradually add in the milk.
The consistency should be that of batter. If it is too thick, add a little more milk.
Ladle your batter into a hot waffle iron or fry pan, and cook until done. Pancakes will require flipping halfway through.
This protein powder waffle recipe makes 12 waffles so adjust as necessary or freeze any leftovers with baking paper in between each waffle to make separation easier!
